The
Miltoniopsis produce among the most beautiful and fragrant flowers in
the Subtribe, Oncidiinae. These intermediate growers have long been
misunderstood due to so much misinformation that has been written
concerning their cultural requirements. Because these Hybrid
Miltoniopsis are so far removed from the species it is fair to say they
posses a great deal of hybrid vigor. They grow quickly into specimen
plants with great numbers of spikes and flowers, giving the grower,
exquisite display plants for show and enjoyment!

Complex Paphiopedilums once the rage
are again gaining favor with Orchid Enthusiasts. This fascinating group
within the Genus Paphiopedilum produces long lasting flowers in a
multitude of colors and patterns. Complex Paphiopedilums are not
demanding in their cultural requirements and reward the grower with
stunning flowers. During the fall and winter when the temperatures
outside are cold and dreary, the Complex Paphiopedilums begin to flower
and continue into spring. We are pleased to offer a stunning array of
new hybrids in this Catalog. Be sure to follow the link above to our new
Paphiopedilum Photo Page.

Be sure to visit our Masdevallia
Photo Page Here! |

Our Masdevallia page has been updated with
some colorful and unique hybrids. We hope to add more in the near future.
Masdevallias are orchids endemic to South and Central America, north into
Mexico. Most are cool growing, and thus appropriate plants for Pacific
Northwest collections. There is, however, a range of temperature tolerance,
and one of our breeding objectives is to increase this range in our hybrids.
The photo shows HV1002 Masdevallia Rebecca reg. 1893 and not seen in 100
years. These are blooming in brilliant candy stripe colors of pink, violet,
and red. This and other new hybrids are available in our online catalog. Be
sure to follow the link above to our new Masdevallia Photo Page. |
